Well.... I was suppose to have my surgery on the 15th- but I was super sick last week. It's now turned into bronchitis so I'm having to wait and reschedule. I've been waiting for my surgeon to reschedule- and I'm hoping it'll be next week- somewhere around the 24th- but we'll see. I'm still on antibiotics and haven't completely cleared up my chest cold yet, so who knows, we may have to wait a little longer- even possibly the last week in January or the first of February.

I got bad news on the 8th. The hospital called me and told me they misquoted the price of surgery by about 20 thousand dollars. I lost my mind. And cried so much- that's when I got really sick. I think it had to do with the fact that I was snotting all over myself and such. Anyway- got the cost squared away- thanks to Mom again- but now I feel like I'm in limbo. I told Johanna we should just go to South America- the whole surgery can be done there for 12 thousand- but J won't even talk to me about that anymore... she ignores me completely.

So we're all set- except for the sick part. Hopefully I'll be completely over this sinus infection and chest cold very soon! I'm ready to move on. So far I've lost about 18 lbs on my pre operative diet- low carb- and need to maintain it, but it's been really hard. I really want to eat a cookie factory at this point- but I'm trying to remember the bigger picture and the improvement of my life- so holding the course!
