Wow- I'm apparently awful at blogging. Whether on my blog or somewhere else. Let's catch everyone up to speed-

I went to see my primary care physician and they hooked me up! All the tests I will need before the surgery my doctor is ordering. So even though my insurance doesn’t cover the WLS- they will cover a lot of other costs.

First off I needed to get a sign off from my sleep doctor. Seems like they think I’m doing great. They said they’re gonna be sad, because once I have the surgery, I may no longer have Sleep Apnea- great for me- bad for them!

Secondly, I’ve made an appointment to my endocrinologist. That’s my diabetes doctor and the earliest I could get in to see him is Dec. 15- so that’s cool. I need a sign off on him saying that I could have the surgery. I haven’t seen him in a few months, so he’s prolly annoyed but his stuff sucks- they never tell me when I need another referral and they never let me see him without one. Can’t they manipulate some dates? What the freak? They’re weak.

Thirdly, I have to go see a cardiologist. Apparently the anesthesiologist won’t put me under unless I get a sign off from the heart doctor. My appointment with him is Dec. 11. I tell you what, these doctors feed off each other. No wonder they all have houses in the Hamptons.

Fourth, I have some lab work that needs to get done as well as a chest X-ray. So that’s about it. I gotta do that in December, probably around Dec. 20^th, that way it’s less than 30 days outside the big day.

I’ve bought a couple of books to read about the surgery, what to expect and what to eat. Anyway- so that’s all about that for now. O…. one more thing, I wrecked my truck this week. On the 14^th some lame ass decided to turn left from the right lane and went over my truck. His truck? An 18-wheeler, so definitely put some dents in my chit. We’re still waiting to hear from the insurance company. So we’ll see.
